Decay-Scapes proposes architecture as a process of ecological collaboration between human and non-human systems. The project develops a full-scale structural prototype that combines computational design, CNC fabrication and Kigumi-inspired adhesive-free timber joinery. Located conceptually within Berlin’s Natur-Park Südgelände, a former industrial site reclaimed by vegetation, the project examines building as a more-than-human practice of coexistence, decay and becoming-with.
